Cotswold Carriers has been serving its customers' moving and storage needs for over 40 years. 

Founded in 1978 by Bill Cooper, we have a well-established reputation and many customers who consistently return to us and recommend our removal services. 

Now in its second generation, Cotswold Carriers remains a family-run business, so you can trust that we will treat your property as if it were our own. We take great pride in everything we do to uphold the excellent name and reputation that the company has earned over the years.

In addition to our family-run approach, we are proud members of the British Association of Removers (BAR). All BAR members are independently monitored by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, so you can trust that you’re choosing a reliable, professional and secure removal company, giving you complete peace of mind throughout your moving journey.

Dean Cooper - Director

Dean, son of Cotswold Carriers founder Bill Cooper, began as a furniture porter at 16 and quickly moved into European removals, where he managed operations for many years. He then became increasingly involved in supporting Bill with the day-to-day running of the company, while remaining hands-on and continuing to drive as needed. 

Dean now leads the business as Managing Director, continuing the legacy Bill started with the same dedication and customer-centric care.

Bailey & lewis

We’re proud to welcome the next generation of the Cooper family to Cotswold Carriers. 

Bailey, Dean’s eldest son, has earned his HGV licence and followed closely in his father’s footsteps. He now handles the majority of our European removals and travels regularly to support our overseas customers. 

Louis, Dean’s younger son, has also recently joined the company and plans to complete his HGV licence in 2026.

Chris - Warehouse Manager

Chris has been with the company for nearly 30 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.

Having stepped back from being on the road, Chris is now primarily based in our warehouse and office, where he manages operations and storage, ensuring every move runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Chris is also our main surveyor, completing the majority of quotation visits and often being the first person our customers meet. He has a gift for putting people at ease during what can be a stressful time, and we regularly receive customer feedback highlighting the trust and confidence he inspires.

Chloe – Office Administrator

Chloe, often the first point of contact for our customers, works full-time in the office, taking care of everything from booking survey visits and preparing quotations to confirming schedules and organising move details. 

Chloe has an in-depth understanding of each job and plays a key role in ensuring consistent, clear, and helpful communication between the team and our customers.

Shannon – Accounts & Office Manager

Shannon works mainly behind the scenes, supporting the wider business.

Joining just before the pandemic, she jumped straight into one of the busiest periods the industry has seen during the Stamp Duty Holiday. As the office team has grown, Shannon has been able to focus more on accounts, HR, and day-to-day operations, helping ensure everything remains organised and efficient.

Their hard work, care, and commitment ensure every customer receives the highest level of support throughout their moving journey.
